“The John Ben Snow Foundation and Memorial Trust has awarded a $12,500 grant to NSPPS. The grant funds are earmarked for the permit project, which is being led by a team of architects and engineers, and is currently underway. The permit process looks at requirements for changing the approved use of the site from an occupied prison to a historical site with public access. These funds will help pay for the neccesary modifications to the site and structures. Everything the society does is accomplished without public funds, so this grant is extremely important and very much appreciated. The Grant Committee did an excellent job writng this grant for the society.”
